The Animal Print Dress

There are those things of which I thought that I am never going to do them.

If you would have met me about more than two years ago I would have told you that I’m never going to wear jeans. Now I’m wearing them on a daily basis. Last year I told my friend Rafia that Sneakers are an absolute No-Go for me and this year I bought my first pair.

I think it’s really important to develop yourself further and to make progress.

If you don’t go forward you go backwards.

Even though I’m saying things like the above and change my mind afterwards it’s really important to me to try things out.

If you never try you’ll never know.

So what I did was buying myself loads of pieces of which I thought that I do not like them. But you have to give it a try. And if you do you might surprise yourself 😉

This dress is the best example: It’s violet and animal print. My alter ego would have said something like “Hell no! Don’t buy this thing! It’s too much and you are going to look too colorful in it with your red hair”.

But the new me tried it out and I think the dress really is a cool piece. It’s extravagant by the pattern and really cute with all those ruffles. I combined it with black accessories (yes, it’s still important to me that I don’t look like a bird of paradise) like the big black belt. The elephant bag matches quite nice with the jungle theme of the dress so I decided to go for it.

Are there some rules you stick to when it comes to fashion?

    Liebe Katharina,
