Inspiration: Jacquemus

“I would like more poetry, less industry; because fashion is nothing without poetry.”

I’m sure you can tell what was the inspiration to create this look – Jacquemus. Every piece he creates is pure art and the cuts are incomparable to any other in the industry. Especially the proportions: the hats couldn’t be any bigger while the bags may be micro sized (cf. the Chiquito bag).

Although I couldn’t afford the iconic straw hat by Jacquemus himself, I found a wonderful alternative (which is obviously a bit tinier) while doing some online shopping at Mango. To create an all-over natural appearance I combined the hat (which is somewhat the key-piece of my look) with other soft, nude colors. The shorts are also by Mango, while the shirt is an oldie but goldie by H&M. The shoes by Vagabond are perfect for summer because they aren’t too high which makes them pretty comfortable.

For those Indian summer days the sunflower field was the perfect location 😉

Are you inspired by Jacquemus as well? Do you gather your inspirations from designers?

    Hallo Liebes,
