It’s Monday and this means it’s also time for a new blog post. But of course this is a very special Monday as it’s Christmas Eve, which is the reason why I decided to keep this post as festive as possible sharing a chic look inspo with you.
You know I love online shopping (a lot more than running from store to store on the hunt for a piece which might not be in stores anyway – anyone with me?) so as I was browsing through my Instagram feed I discovered that River Island is selling some beautiful party dresses. You know how the story goes, right? Of course I had to fell in love with one of them which is the dark blue asymmetrical dress you can see in the pictures. I think despite that I love shiny silky materials (especially when it comes to slip skirts and dresses) what I loved the most about this dress was the chain strap. The devil is in the details they say and I couldn’t agree more.
As I think this is what makes the dress the most special I wanted to focus on this little detail and tried to enhance it by only wearing the smallest amount of jewelry (rhinestone earrings and the ring my boyfriend gave to me five years ago which I wear on a daily basis).
As the strap is silver I also wore this dress with my little No. 21 bag which has silver hardware so gold hardware couldn’t distract from that little detail (although I’m not very strict when it comes to mix-match silver and gold).
As it was freezing cold and it also started snowing during the shoot I decided to also wear a blazer on top to warm myself a bit (at least from time to time). Even though this hides some of the beauty of that dress I also like how it looks in combination with the blazer.
I hope you enjoyed this little festive outfit inspiration and I’m wishing you all a wonderful and merry Christmas with your beloved ones! Leave your phone turned off for the most times – memories don’t need to be all captured on IG and so on, just held in your memories and heart. It’s only about the people around you, the love you share, the laughter which surrounds you!

wow, der Look , die Bilder- du siehst großartig aus. Man sieht zumindest nicht, das es wohl eher a kalte war 😉
Ich muss auch sagen, dass ich meistens online über solche Schätze stolpere, klar gehe ich gerne mal bummeln, aber online shopping ist immer noch dir Nr. 1.
Der dünne Kettenärmel gibt dem ganzen Kleid das gewisse Etwas.

Ich bin total verliebt in deinen Look! Das Kleid ist sehr interessant geschnitten und sieht so festlich aus! Aber am Besten finde ich die Kombination mit dem Blazer und den dezenten Blumen dadrauf! Übrigens sieht das Blau seht schick zu deinen Haaren aus ♥
