Spring is in the air!
And with spring our closets need a change of colors, fabrics, patterns and garments.
I started into the new season with a combination of pink, lace, floral patterned wide leg pants and mules.
While creating this look I thought about the pieces every girl should have in her wadrobe to create effortlessly great spring looks.
What are the key elements everyone should have to start proper into the warmer days?
Here they are: four things everyone should (re-)add to their wardrobes by now 😉
1. The Trenchcoat
You know the saying: “April showers bring May flowers”, right?
Even tough we often try to suppress the fact that spring isn’t all warm and sunny, we might be caught in a situation where we step outside and have to realize: “Dang, it’s raining!”.
Which item is a total classic, keeps us dry and looks super cool while wearing it? Yep. The trenchcoat.
I have to admit that I have two of them but I’m still looking for the perfect trenchcoat…have you found yours yet?
Maybe you and I are going to find one in the selection below ☺
2. A good pair of Sunglasses
As soon as the first rays of the sun show up you are going to see me wearing sunnies.
Sunglasses are a wonderful item to top your outfit off. They can be a statement piece if they are big or special enough or just complete your look. And as there are so many wonderful and different sunglasses out there I’m also sure there are going to be dozends of pairs which you are going to love and wear all the time.
By the way: in my opinion you can never have enough sunnies! 😉
3. Spring Shoes
There are so many wonderful shoes in the world which makes it sometimes hard to decide for one pair while shopping (at least for me as I’m a shoe addict 😉 ).
Spring is the most wonderful time of the year when it comes to shoes. It’s the time to change from heavy and lined shoes to some lightweight versions and it leaves you with so many options. During the warmer days you are able to wear a pair of sandals (maybe in combination with an adorable pair of socks?) and during the colder days you can go for a cool pair of sneakers or loafers, whatever you prefer.
Here are some of my favourites ♥
4. Pastels
After the dark and bold colors which mainly dominate our wardrobe during winter season (which surely has to do with the wonderful contrast those build to the white snow 😉 ) the soft pastels are the way to go for spring days. The wonderful thing about pastel colors is that you can mix and match them without looking to colorful…
I hope you liked my first spring post!
What are your personal spring essentials? Would love to know them!

Such an amazing look my dear Katharina! You look phenomenal! I love these dark floral pants, your pink coat and these fab satin slip-ons! I wanted the pink ones but were sold out in just a few days! Love the trench coat for spring, it is actually my favourite wardrobe staple! My favourite ones are a green and a blue one I own. They are really lightweight and perfect for transitioning from to spring or fall!
Thanks so much for sharing one more amazingly inspiring look and your great selections of products!
Have a great week my dearest!
