On Tuesday it’s officially the first day of spring. So I decided it’s about time to create a new shopping post for you including one way to style one of the biggest spring trends:
Stripes.
As you can see I styled the striped Weekend by Max Mara dress with my beloved J.W. Anderson bag. I wouldn’t have thought to go out of my typical monochrome looks one day but as you can see I did it here. Mixing brown and blue was totally impossible before 😀
To emphasize my waist I wore a patent leather belt. And as it’s a spring look I decided that my Balenciaga base sneakers are the best way to extend a lovely welcome to the warmer days.
What other spring trends are waiting for you?
Well, scroll down to discover more! 😉

Another trend you don’t want to miss is
DENIM
An all-over denim look is best created for example with a wonderful jumpsuit (find a selection by clicking on the link).
You can also go even more jeans and put a denim jacket on top.
If you don’t like jumpsuits wear a two piece denim set instead.
I think which goes well with denim pieces are mules or sandals. It upgrades the cool garments and make them look more feminine.
I’m also planning a denim look for you guys!
If you’d like me to style some other trends as well – let me know 😉

As we both know, spring days can be very cold, right?
So what you need (of course!) are
Transition Jackets
It was somehow a bit cold while taking this photos and I was glad when we were finished that I could put my jacket back on.
The big three when talking about transition jackets are trenchcoats, parkas and denim jackets.
As I’ve already showed you some denim above, let’s focus on the other two.
There was a time in my life when all the jackets in my closet were parkas. And I still like the style of a good parka .
But what I like more today are some classical trenchcoats.
What do you prefer?

What’s the last item you really need to complete your spring wardrobe?
Yep! You guessed it right!
DRESSES
I haven’t wore a dress in a while and I honestly can’t tell you why. When I put this dress on for the lookbook my boyfriend was somehow surprised to see me wearing a dress.
But don’t worry: I’m going to wear more dresses soon! And with a look on the latest pieces you should do so too. It doesn’t matter whether you like floral, lace, maxi or all together – I’m sure you are going to find your favorite dress.
What is your favorite spring garment? I really can’t tell what’s mine. But I’m looking forward to wear all the spring trends this season!
Lots of love,
BTW: You can find all the items on the Peek & Cloppenburg website!
